What's included
- Local guide with the group
- Route through dunes and lagoons in the region
- Stops for photos and lagoon swims on the longer tour
- Safety briefing before heading out
How it works
Before you head out, the guide gives a quick safety talk: how to accelerate, brake and handle the sand. Then you follow behind, riding through dune trails, along lagoon edges and past viewpoints you'd never find alone. The guide knows the tides, which areas are open to riders and which trails are prettiest at different times of year.
2 hours or 6 hours?
2 hours is for the thrill-seeker who wants the dune rush without giving up the whole day. Great for a morning tour and an open afternoon.
6 hours is almost an expedition: you go farther, stop for photos, take a lagoon swim and have time to eat without rushing. Pick this if you want to see as much of the region as possible in one day.
Tour tips
- Sunglasses or protective goggles — sand flies
- Light clothes and sunscreen; a bandana or neck gaiter helps against the wind
- Swim clothes if it's the long tour
- Phone in a waterproof case or pouch
